Personal data we collect

Floratag collects data to provide you with the best possible experience. If you would like to use some personalized features of Floratag, such as saving plants that you are interested in, creating new plants or customizing existing ones you will have to create an account.
By creating an account you provide Floratag with your name and email address which is used primarily for your identification within the application.

Usage of personal data

Floratag uses your personal data for:

• Identification
• Customization of your user experience within the app
• Connection with the Floratag mobile app

Floratag may use your personal data on your request for:

• Notifications by email about events concerning you
• Resetting forgotten passwords

Floratag will not:

• Share or sell your personal data with anyone
• Send unwanted emails (spam)
• Use your personal data for advertising
• Abuse your personal data in any way

Mobile App

Data collected by the mobile app and the permissions requested are required only for the base functions of the app and identification of the user. Permissions we require (Android):

• Identity: Permissions under the Identity category are used solely for the purpose of identifying the user and connecting with the web application.
• Storage: Permissions under the Storage category are used to save data such as plant details onto your device to avoid unnecessary mobile data usage.
• Other: Permissions under the Other category are used for the regular app operations, for example, to identify the user Floratag requires internet access, to read and write tags Floratag requires NFC control.
